Pre-Season Division Alignment Tournament

The WWHSHL holds an annual pre-season tournament each fall in order to effectively align each of the high school teams into an appropriate competitive divisions. The 2019-20 Tournament date is September 19-24.

On behalf of the League Executive, the Competition Committee evaluates and aligns WWHSHL teams into divisions based on a number of factors including coach evaluation of the anticipated competitiveness level of teams during the upcoming season, tournament game results and performance (see Policy Manual).

Upon receipt of the Division Alignment Report, the Head Coach of any team, may make a written appeal to the Executive Committee within 24 hours of receipt. The Executive Committee will hear the appeal, and make a final ruling prior to the Regular Season League Scheduling Meeting. The final division alignment results will then be posted here.

KEY COACH DATES:
Coaches are required to send the following to the Competition Committee Chair:

• Coach Preferred Division Declarations must be sent one week prior to the Tournament Start Date. 
• Coach Player Declaration Forms due at first game. 
• Coach Game Reports after each game.
