All Manitoba Arena's have their own COVID-19 protocols, and often policies vary by rink. If you plan on attending a game, and you are unsure what the protocols for that arena may be, please contact your team manager. Every team has a protocol officer, and they are the best to advise you.
Thank you.

People who have tested positive and are fully vaccinated and do not have symptoms need to isolate for five days from the date of their positive test. After five days of isolation, members must wear a medical grade mask in public settings - including on ice activities - for five days and avoid any non-essential visits to high-risk settings. If wearing a medical mask is not feasible while playing hockey, the individual should not participate.
Should a player return between days 6-10-it is clear she he must always remain masked. The onus will be on the coaching staff to clearly enforce and ensure that the player's mask is worn properly (over the mouth AND nose) for the game. All times includes while on the bench, actively playing or sitting in the penalty box. That means that the player will have to be wearing their mouth guard UNDER the mask, under their helmet and cage for the duration of the game. Officials will have ZERO tolerance on this.
