Ending February 28, 2025

Division 1: Callie Pinkerton, Oak Park Raiders, Goalie #1

Callie raised her skills to another level as playoffs for the Raiders commenced this week. With an incredible performance in game one on Monday she stood tall between the pipes, stopping a whopping 54 of 55 shots, earning her team a 2-1 overtime victory against the Shaftesbury Titans. From the opening puck drop to the final whistle she was a brick wall, turning aside relentless pressure and making highlight reel saves to keep her team in the fight. Her biggest moments certainly came in the third period, where she denied multiple scoring chances, giving her team the ability to secure the game- winning goal in overtime. In game two the next day, she stopped 23 of 25 shots and kept the Raiders in the game to give them a good chance to tie it up, but the Titans skated away with a 3-0 win. On Thursday, Callie played outstanding, making many top tier stops and unbelievable saves on 44 of 45 shots to lead her team to another 2-1 victory and the series win. Congratulations Callie!

Division 2: Serena Reeb, Selkirk Royals, Forward #10

Serena Reeb put her game into over drive this week and delivered performance after performance. In game one against the CSLR Renards on Monday, she scored 2 goals to help lead her team to victory. Her offensive skills were on full display and her effort was outstanding as she proved to be a difference maker the Royals 3-0 win. In game two on Wednesday, Serena showed her very powerful skating abilities including her quick accelerations and high speed. She led her team in the offensive zone but the Royals couldn’t quite bury it as they fell to the Renards 1-0. In game 3 on Thursday, she was the standout player of the game, tallying 3 points with 2 goals and an assist in the Royals 4-2 victory. She netted the game-winning goal as well as an insurance to propel her team to the next playoff series. Her offensive skills and clutch performance made all the difference as she was involved in every key moment of the game making her crucial in securing the victory. Congratulations Serena!

Division 3: Eve Kubesh, Murdoch MacKay, Forward #71

Eve had a killer week as she earned 7 points in two games. In game one against the Beausejour Barons on Monday, she scored a goal and added 2 assists in their 7-2 victory. She skated just as hard back as she did in to the offensive zone and stuck like glue to the Barons star player, keeping her away from the back of Murdoch’s net. In game two on Thursday, Eve was unstoppable, contributing another 4 points with a dynamic offensive performance. She led the charge offensively for her team where she netted 2 goals and added another 2 assists in a 9-4 win for her team to clutch the series victory. She showcased her elite playmaking and scoring ability while working hard from the starting whistle to the end of the game. Congratulations Eve!
