The MWHSHL holds annual pre-season alignment games each fall. On behalf of the League Executive, the Competition Committee evaluates and aligns MWHSHL teams into divisions based on a number of factors including coach evaluation of the anticipated competitiveness level of teams during the upcoming season, game results and performance (see Policy Manual).
Upon receipt of the Division Alignment Report, the Head Coach of any team, may make a written appeal to the Executive Committee within 24 hours of receipt. The Executive Committee will hear the appeal, and make a final ruling prior to the Regular Season League Scheduling Meeting. The final division alignment results will then be posted.
KEY COACH DATES:
Coaches are required to complete their declarations and other information on the date published in the season calendar along with any additional requirements discussed at the first League meeting of the season.
