Division 1/2 - East: Fiona Kotzer, CPET Canadiennes, Defence #8

Fiona was strong and determined against the Miles Mac Buckeyes on Wednesday. She used her body positioning to take the puck off the opposition and her very powerful shot and strength was noticed throughout the entire game. She scored a goal to help her team in their 3-2 OT win over the Buckeyes. Two days later the Canadiennes played the Dakota Lancers where Fiona earned herself another goal and an assist helping her team to a 4-0 victory. Once again she picked up where she left off with another solid performance in all 3 zones. Congratulations Fiona!

Division 1/2 - West: Paige Windus, Oak Park Raiders, Forward #20

Paige had an incredible game against the Westwood Warriors on Thursday, scoring all 4 goals for her team. Her relentless effort was key to the Raiders success as she set the tone for the entire game. After a no score first period, Paige stepped up to open up the scoring and she kept it going from there. She started the game working hard and finished hard earning the Raiders a 4-2 victory. Congratulations Paige!

Division 3: Emma Nickel, Murdoch MacKay, Forward #4

Emma was a force to be reckoned with on Thursday against the Beausejour Barons. She was all over the ice, checking hard in the neutral zone and giving the Barons defenders a very hard time in the attacking zone. Her clean, fast skating style of play was wonderful to see. She scored 2 goals, including the game winner in her team’s 8-1 win against the Barons. Congratulations Emma!
