Division 1/2 - East: Olivia Breuer, CPET Canadiennes, Forward #5
Olivia started her week strong on Wednesday, as she netted 3 goals and added an assist in the Canadiennes 10-3 victory over the Selkirk Royals. She kept up that same energy on Friday as she recorded a natural hat-trick to lead the Canadiennes to a 3-1 win over the Lorette Scorpions. She scored her first of the game late in the second period to tie the game. In the third, after the Scorpions got into some penalty trouble, Bauer and her linemates dominated on the power play to take the lead. Congratulations Olivia!
Division 1/2 - West: Cassandra Carvalho, Garden City Gophers, Forward #17
Cassandra was a driving force in the Gophers 7-3 win over the Sanford Sabres. She dominated in both ends of the ice, skating through the tough defence of the Sabres. She scored 1 goal in both the first and second periods, while also adding an assist in the middle frame. She added 2 more goals in the third, giving her 5 points on the night and putting the game out of reach in the Gophers 7-3 victory. Congratulations Cassandra!
Division 3: Pella Wright, SJR Eagles, Forward #16
Pella started her week off with an unassisted goal in the Eagles decisive 6-3 win over the PCI Saints on Monday. Two days later, she was a large contributor in the Eagles 8-0 win over the Beausejour Barons. She netted 1 goal and added 2 assists in a very dominate second period for the Eagles. She added another assist in the third, earning herself 5 points for the week. Congratulations Pella!
