One in two of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our life time. That's why, we've partnered with the Manitoba Moose to support Camp Quality for kids affected by Childhood Cancer. Join us at the Manitoba Moose & WWHSHL Fights Cancer Game Day. Together, we can help provide outstanding care and hope to Manitoba kids and families.
Here's what to do!

Camp Quality Manitoba…Providing Opportunities to Children Affected by Childhood Cancer
Camp Quality has been operating in Manitoba for the past 14 years. They are a completely non-profit organization providing year-round support to families with children with cancer. All of the organization’s events are free of charge to the families. The biggest event for the children is a free week-long overnight camp at Variety’s Camp Brereton.
Campers affected by childhood cancer the opportunity to make new friends, explore nature, try new activities, and thrive in an environment where they are not defined by their cancer experience, but by their excitement for the future.
Ainsley Kullman, current volunteer Director says, “You can truly see the children come out of their shells the minute they arrive at camp. They arrive and are no longer defined by their cancer.”
Kullman further explains that a visitor to the camp this past summer was “taken aback by how no one treated anyone differently…. They couldn’t tell who had cancer and who was a sibling…” Kullman goes on to state that “this is really what camp is all about”.
“We’re doing really well in Manitoba. We had 56 campers this year and even had a wait list. The need is definitely there for this population”.
Camp Quality Manitoba provides activities including, but not limited to, swimming, sports, boating, canoeing, kayaking, crafts and games for everyone.
On Camp Quality Manitoba’s Facebook page, a review from a camper states, “I went to Camp Quality on my birthday, we had kinder eggs! My companion was named Scott, he was the best, he was so funny! Every day we had a different activity. We had a lip sync battle and costumes, the camp was a week. It was so fun.”
Camp Quality Manitoba makes a difference and by supporting Camp Quality, you are too.
