CTV Division 1: Hilary Robson, Kelvin Clippers, Forward, #10
In an intense game Monday between the Selkirk Royals and the Kelvin Clippers, Hilary realized the importance of the game and came out focusing on two things - playing clean and hard. She scored the opening goal with a wicked shot on the power play. She also assisted on the Clippers second and third goals for a slim 3-2 victory in a game which went right to the last second. Congratulations Hilary!
Winnipeg Free Press Division 2: Hailey Ross, Sturgeon Heights Huskies, Forward #22
Hailey proves the adage that its not the size of the player but her determination. In Tuesdays 4-1 victory over the River East Kodiaks, Hailey had numerous shots on goal and plenty of rebound opportunities, scoring two goals. She often found a way to be open in front of the net, and could have scored more if it wasn't for the strong play of the River East goalie. Hailey finished with 27 points in regular season. Congratulations Hailey!
Hire Marketing Division 3: Jessica Emms, Murdoch MacKay Clansmen, Forward #14
Jessica ended regular season as strongly as she started it. Tuesday against the Clansmen’s arch-rival Glenlawn Lions, Jessica played well at both ends of the ice picking up 2 assists in their 3-1 victory. The next day against the TCI Titans, she played a big roll in setting up scoring chances and her full effort resulted in a goal and an assist in the 3- 0 win. Jessica finished regular season as the Clansmen’s highest scorer with 46 points. Congratulations Jessica!
