Division 1: Isabela Huculak, Churchill Bulldogs, Forward #17
Isabela had a good semi-final series despite her team’s rocky, game one start Tuesday. The CJS Olympiens dominated, racking up goals for a 10-3 win over the Bulldogs. Despite the score, Isabela played a solid game and picked up an assist. Determined to avoid a second loss, Isabela turned up the heat during game 2 Thursday. Her hard work, battles on the boards and in the corners, kept the competition at bay and earned her the game winning goal in a thrilling 2-1 victory. In game 3, Isabella showed the same passion with a quick goal, and with the score tied in the third, she dug deep and once again scored the game winning goal for a 4-3 game and series win. Congratulations Isabela!
Division 2: Annick Espenell, Believeau Barracudas, Defence #2
Annick was a solid, determined player helping the Barracudas claim the semi-final series win against the Lorette Scorpions in two straight games.
