Division 1: Isabel Eva, CJS Olympiens, Goalie #30

Congratulation’s to Collage Jean Sauvé Olympiens, goaltender #30, Isabel Eva, who had two stellar starts as her team went .500 for the week. On Tuesday, she helped back stop her team to a 6-3 win over the Churchill Bulldogs, stopping 27 of 30 shots that came her way. A couple days later is when she really came to shine. Despite the 4-3 OT loss to the Glenlawn Lions, Isabel made an outstanding 52 saves on 56 shots helping her team earn an extra point on the week. Congratulations Isabel!

Division 2: Kiera Mason-Vandel, Sturgeon Heights Huskies, Forward #8

Kiera was an absolute powerhouse in her teams 4-3 overtime win over the SJR Eagles on Thursday, scoring all of the Huskies goals. As if a hat trick wasn’t enough she scored the game winning goal, her fourth of the game after a strong fore check causing a turnover. With her 4 goals this week she now has 12 goals and 6 assists for 18 points and an average of 1 point per game. Congratulations Kiera!

Division 3: Eve Kubesh, Murdoch MacKay, Forward #71

Eve had an outstanding week as she was the driving force in her team’s third period comeback over the JH Bruns Broncos on Monday. She was dominant in all ends of the rink but made the most damage in the offensive zone. She started the game with assists on the first two goals but kicked it up a notch for the third. Eve scored the game winner on the powerplay mid-way thru the third period and then capped off a 4-point game with the insurance goal 5 minutes later. She is currently leading her team in points with 12 goals and 13 assists totalling 25 points in 17 games. Congratulations Eve!
