Vanessa has played elite level hockey, winning a Division 3 National Championship with Morrisville University. She came back to Winnipeg for a short stint where she played in the MWJHL for the Stars. After her time here, she played professionally in Sweden in their top tier level for Karlskrona HK. She is currently playing for the University of Manitoba Bisons women's hockey team.
