The MWHSHL Rookie Showcase features players in Grades 9-10 attenting participating League highschools. In its inaugural season, the first-ever, showcase was held on April 25-28, 2024, at the Southdale Community Centre. The round-robin tournament involved 134 league wide players from grades 9 and 10, divided into eight teams, as well as a skills session.
