About Us
The Garden City Fighting Gophers were the 2016-2017 Division B Champs (Winnipeg Free Press Division). Garden City finished in sixth place in the 12-team league with a record of 12-8-2 but really turned it on in the playoffs. They swept their first three best-of- three series and won the third and deciding game in overtime against J.H. Bruns by a 2-1 score.
